Following answer to your query.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
My opinion is that you can try healthy lifestyle and diet changes in order to normalise your cholesterol levels.
If you were my patient I would recommend to do as follows :
- increase physical activity
- reduce alcohol intake
- quit smoking
- eat foods reach in fresh fruits and vegetables, poor in animal fats and diary
- use omega 3 fish oil supplements
- eat garlics every day
If after three months cholesterol levels will persist to be high, you should start taking atorvastatin.
Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
