Are Tests For Vitamin B12 And D3 The Treatment Procedures For Knee Pain?

default
Posted on Thu, 19 Feb 2015
Question: I am suffering a mild pain in right knee from Last week. So, I went to see the physiotherapist. She instructed me to do two exercises for knee pain for 1 week and told me to visit again after one week. She also told me to get some tests done for Vitamin B12, Vitmamin D3 and one more (that I dont remember).

Please let me know is it the right time to get these tests done or should I wait for some time.

Brief Answer:
You can get it done as per advise.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

I understand from your description that you want to know the right time to get investigations advised by your physiotherapist.

As you have been advised by your physiotherapist for these investigations, I feel you can get it done as you have suffering with right knee pain since a week. It will help in knowing your metabolic condition and the cause for the pain.

This will help the physiotherapist to plan the next line of treatment according to the reports.

Hope this answers your query. If any further clarifications, will be happy to help you.

Regards.
