Are There Any Interactions Between Miralax, Gatorade And Neurontin?

Question: hi and thank you in advance. i am having a colonoscopy and endoscopy, I did the miralax and Gatorade prep. I take 2 mgxanax 1 4mg zofran 35 mg zoloft and 800mg neurontin. What I am asking is if there is any interactions between or cause to be concerned with these meds and all that miralax?

Hi,

There are no known interactions between them. You should simply take miralax away from medications as this causes rapid transit through the intestines and may not allow for sufficient absorption.

i took the whole bottle of miralax powder with 64oz of gatorade at about 5pm till 745pm. i want to take a zofran because i am extremely nauseous but have been holding off. should it be ok to take the zofran now? when i googled zofran/miralax interactions it said something about heart palps

This is possible but a very rare side effect and happens when both are taken together. With a few hours interval, this should be very unlikely. I understand your concerns but this is certainly very unlikely to occur at this time.
