Are There Any Vaccines Developed Against Epstein-Barr Virus?

I i'm now 53 and every day is tough
Infectious mononucleosis (IM) and vaccine against EBV
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
While some patients have malaise and fatigue that persist for weeks or months after infectious mononucleosis (IM), persistent Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection is not a cause of chronic fatigue syndrome or fibormiagia (muscle pain etc) .
Hepatitis(jaundice) ,uveitis, are rare complications associated with acute EBV infection.
Most cases resolve without neurologic sequelae (memory loss).
There is no vaccine developed against Epstein-Barr virus as yet.
A vaccine directed against the major EBV glycoprotein reduced the frequency of IM but did not affect the rate of asymptomatic infection in a phase 2 trial.

I wish you could give me better feed back i've had talk to a few doctors that believe that Fibromyalgia could be cause by the same viruses, and the have been testing some vaccines for herpes or sys EBV could be the main cause. or i'm just wasting my time talking to you cause the say they don't know what causes it, also their was a bad batches of multiple type of vaccine given to children that was infected with a strain of bacteria and or virus that wasn't weaken infected up to approximately 30 million people when they have to have it just to be able to go to school the government admitted to this which was given in the late 60's and early 70's Help or i'm i just wasting my time getting worse all the time.
Fibromyalgia (FM) vis a vis Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) & EBV
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Patients with Fibromyalgia (FM) have an increased prevalence of other syndromes associated with pain and fatigue, including chronic fatigue syndrome.
Most patients report an infection (usually a flu like illness
or infectious mononucleosis) as the trigger of their fatigue.
However, no differences in Epstein-Barr virus load and immunologic reactivity were found between individuals who developed CFS and those who did not.
Patients with chronic fatigue syndrome may have titers of antibody
to EBV that are elevated but are not significantly different from those
in healthy EBV-seropositive adults.
Hence persistent EBV infection has not been linked with either Fibromyalgia (FM) or Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS).
