What is the best treatment for chronic colds (I assume its chronic epstein barr) because I have very similar symptoms to the acute phase. I live in Korea and the doctors say there is nothing I can do. Are there any specific vitamins I should be taking or actual medicine etc? Also, is there an expert in the US I could be referred to?
Chronic cold can be from allergic inflammation as well. To rule out EBV virus, Paul bannel or monospot test can be done. Check your CBC and Peripheral smear examination report for primary work up.

Can Chronic Colds Be Treated?
Hello, Chronic cold can be from allergic inflammation as well. To rule out EBV virus, Paul bannel or monospot test can be done. Check your CBC and Peripheral smear examination report for primary work up. Your liver, Spleen and lymph nodes palpation should be done to clinically correlate EBV or infectious mononucleosis. Consult pulmonologist or otorhinolaryngologist for your examination to nearby doctor available to you. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
