Are There Chances Of Getting Pregnant Despite Taking Contraceptive Pill Within 2 Hours After Unprotected Sex?

Question: Sir i had sex on 25th december without protectn..i dont want child now..my wife have regular periods...last period was on 5th december...she took unwanted 72 after 2 hours of intercourse and then had her meal...plz sujjest me...is there any chance to get pregnancy plz..do she need 2 take more pills??

Brief Answer: No NEED Detailed Answer: Hello, If she has taken a single dose of unwanted 72 its enough. She need not take any more pills. She will get bleeding in a week or two. There should not be chance of pregnancy. Also remember that taking multiple doses of pills in the same month is contraindicated. That will have side effects. Use condoms for the rest of the month.

Brief Answer: Hormonal surge Detailed Answer: Unwanted 72 is a hormone drug. It should be only used in emergency. Its a high dose hormone which causes certain hormonal surge in the body preventing conception. Its ideally to be taken during ovulation period.In your case, your wife is on day 20 of her cycle. Normally ovulation occurs between day 12-16. Its unlikely she was ovulating on dec 25th. If the pill works, then she should get her usual period. But nothing is 100%fool proof. There is a minimal chance of failure.

Last question mam..if so she had taken pill and then her lunch...wont there will any prblm?? And i didnt cum inside vagina just outside..will it minimize the chance...? Do she need to check about pregnancy if period doesnt get at her regular time?? Yet she has not any side effect except fatique mam...plz sujjest..

Brief Answer: no problem Detailed Answer: There is no problem in taking the pill with food. Since you ejaculated outside, chances of pregnancy are low. Do a pregnancy test only if she is delayed by more than 2 weeks.
