Are Vision Issues And Nuchal Rigidity Side Effects Of Axert?
Question: Would losing the ability to see and having nuchal rigidity to the point of not being able to move your head immediately following the first dose of axert be a reason to put it on an allergy list? Also, coughing and wheezing the following day that wouldn't stop without Benadryl and multiple doses of albuterol. Would this be a reason not to take any triptans again, or just the axert?
Brief Answer:
In such case better avoid triptans.

Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Vision issues and nuchal rigidity may be considered as side effects of Axert, coughing and wheezing, if not related to other conditions such viral infections or other allergies, may be considered as a mild allergic reaction of Axert.
Side effects and possibility of allergic reactions are similar among Triptans, so, it's recommended that triptans should be avoided.
Please discuss with your Doctor about these issues.
