Dosage & Medication
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back with your prescribed medicines and following points are noteworthy:
1. XXXXXXX vati+ hridyamrit vati+ arjunarishta are CARDIOTONIC [giving strength to the muscles of the heart and also boost the immune system]
2. XXXXXXX vati+ Ashvagandharishta are NERVINE TONIC [calming the mind]
3. As the prescription covers both the Psychosomatic part of your problem thus will be very effective in controlling your symptoms.
4. As advised earlier, some people with high dose of XXXXXXX vati experience 'nasal congestion' and if same occurs with you, do consult with your Attending physician regarding the same so that dosage can be reduced or modified.
5. make sure both the "arishta" are taken with equal amount of water [daily twice] and after food and not on empty stomach.
6. take dietary precautions as explained earlier to prevent complications. [have a a regular check on the levels of lipids and cholesterol.]
PS: Doctor has done right to continue Actiblok for 10 days, so that it is gradually withdrawn without disturbing the blood level.
Wish you All The Best with your Health and Medicines.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for raising your concern and query.
1. When going for Ayurveda treatment, the Initial treatment plans often focus on rebalancing the doshas, ELIMINATING TOXINS, improving digestion and addressing lifestyle habits which might result in minimal felling of hotness inside the body [due to removal of "AAM" (cholesterol) otherwise whenever there is an IMBALANCE it will derange metabolic functions and produce HEAT.
2. When the body fails to adapt well to changing conditions, it will display abnormal patterns of activity in the forms of excesses or deficiencies [heat or cold]

today I am experiencing the 'nasal congestion'.tomorrow I XXXXXXX doctor.do we have any remedy for this.I have applied vicks and not cleared.

Adverse Drug Reaction
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back with your concern.
1. As said earlier 'nasal congestion' is due to the ingredient "sarpagandha" present in XXXXXXX vati. In my clinical experience with the same I usually prefer the following guidelines:
a. As you described earlier you are pre hypertensive, thus Dose should be "go low-go slow" type, i.e. 1/2 tablet in morning is good enough.
b. Taking ‘mukta vati’ before breakfast and dinner is ideal, and is more effective if it is chewed first and then water[warm] is taken.
PS. The said side effect can be minimized by taking the drug with XXXXXXX warm water, or taking the medicine (1 hour before food)
Do let me know what the Attending Doctor has to say.

Schedule
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
1. If you do not experience any untoward effect after switching from morning to evening dose, it is fine [do consult with your Doctor/Cardiologist regarding the same]
2. Actiblock is a cardio selective antihypertensive drug and can be taken at night because it causes dizzines, hypotension, decrease in working and exercise capability which will show negligible effect during sleep.

Dosage and Mode Of Administration
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
following are the guidelines as per your concerns and according to my Clinical Experience:
1. XXXXXXX vati: should be taken [after meals] with milk or water, one in morning and two at night. [if you feel sleepy during the day, stop morning dose but continue night dosage]
2. Hridya amrit vati: should be taken [before meals] with XXXXXXX warm water or milk. 1 in morning and 1 at night.
3. Arjunarishta/Ashwagandha arishta: Dose is as specified, not to be taken by diabetics as may raise blood sugar in them, high dose of ashwagandha arishta may cause stomach irritation [keep a check on your pulse rate, as low pulse can create problems sometimes]
4. To relieve nasal congestion
.omit evening dose of XXXXXXX vati, effect of nasal congestion will go gradually. .take XXXXXXX Vati with warm water.
.Pranayam [anulom vilom] in morning.
. apply aloe vera moisturizer in both nostrils at night to ward away the dryness of the nose and alleviate the symptoms.
