Question: My guy is a personal trainer and "beef cake" himself. He takes supplements most days, could this affect the smell of his sperm?

Yes,some substances used as food supplements can cause changes in sperm. More important than smell or taste is fact that it may cause changes in sperm amount and production. This is danger when using testosterone and similar products. Proteins can affect smell but it won't cause serious consequances.
so advise him not to use hormonal supplements while proteins,energy drinks and creatine can be used with no fear. other causes of changes in sperm smell are infections such as std or urinary infections. Wish you good health. Regards.
