Can Aldonil And Meganeuron Be Taken Together After A Kidney Transplantation?
Question: I AM A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT PATIENT CAN I HAVE ALDONIL 150 MG & Meganeuron Capsule.. are these kidney friendly medicines
Brief Answer:
you can use them
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Aldonil is for diabetic neuropathy. it may cause GI side effects and raised liver enzymes. as far as interaction with main transplant medicines like tacrolimus and mycophenolate - there are no clinical reports to suggest any damage.
meganeuron is commonly used and safe.
So i would suggest you to repeat Liver function test serum creatinine and tacrolimus blood level 15 days after starting aldonil.
best wishes.
