Can Aleve Be Taken Thrice A Day?

Question: I threw my back out about 2 weeks ago. I have been using moist heat and taking 3 aleve a day. Is it safe to take that many until the painsubsides?

Its main concern is gastritis caused by it. It is taken with or after meals to prevent gastritis caused by it. Omeprazole before meals once a day prevents gastritis caused by analgesics.
