Can Brazilian Tea Be Consumed After Treating Colon Cancer?

Question: i had blood cloth in my lung after surgery for colon cancer, and months ago my doctor said that my blood was very tick, right now I am on lovenox and quemotherapy , should I be worried about the intake of vitamin k. I am worried because I have a habit of having a brazilian tea, erva mate and it has calcium on its formula, its a green leaf tea.
Brief Answer:
There is no reason to be worried at this time!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this blood clot that you had. There is no reason to get bothered by the presence of calcium in your tea. Lovenox is going to address any increased clotting risk and keep it under check. The anticoagulant medication will put all under check and you do not need to get any further worries. If you like the tea, continue with it and know your risk of any clot is well controlled by Lovenox.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
