Does Taking Shots Of Anticoagulants Lead To Swelling Of Leg?

The swelling of my leg caused by DVT increased after taking two injected doses of anticoagulants and one 5mg dose of warfarin (so far) - is this to be expected? I found it a little easier to walk around today and did so without wearing compression stockings.

Hello,

Leg swelling is not related to warfarin or anticoagolants injections. The fact that you have not pain and it is easier to walk is a good sign that the situation is recovering. So, try to be patient and don't panic!

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
