Brief Answer:
Alcohol - No major interaction has been observed between cefixime and alcoh

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the query

Cefixime is a broad spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic and is commonly used to treat bacterial infections.

Alcohol - No major interaction has been observed between cefixime and alcohol.

However the alcohol can interact with the absorption of drug and may reduce the therapeutic purpose of the drug.

So the intake of alcohol along with the antibiotic is not recommended. You can limit the acohol to quanity 30ml with atleast a gap of 2hrs.

Take care
