Brief Answer:
chlamydia infection could be asymptomatic

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The answer is that you may not get it every time you have a sexual intercourse with an infected pattner, although the chances are high.

Chlamydia infection can be asymptomatic sometimes, so it is possible to have contracted chlamydia without any knowledge of it.

Brief Answer:
it should have been detected

6 months is a lot of time! It should have been detected if you were tested a lot earlier. The NAAT gives a sensitivity that exceeds 85%!
