Can Chlamydia Infection Be Contracted Through Intercourse?

Question: the last time I had Chlamydia was 2014 I got treated for it is it possible it can reappear if I'm having sex with a new partner that doesn't have it
Brief Answer:
Only if partner has chlamydia
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..
Only if the partner is chlamydia positive, the infection will recur.. If the partner is negative, there is less chance of getting the infection..
However it is better to use condom to prevent occarrence of other STD's..
Hope I have answered your query.. feel free to ask any doubts..
Good day..
