Can Ciprofloxacin Be Taken For UTI?
Question: Hello, I checked my urine this morning with a UTI test strip, and it was positive for leukocytes but not for nitrates. I am out of the country so cannot call my physician. I have cipro with me, should I take it? A little background: I am susceptible to UTI's, but have also had circumstances like this, where my Dr put me on antibiotics, only to call after the urinalysis was complete saying I did not have a UTI and should stop the antibiotics. I am otherwise quite healthy, 5'5" 120 lbs, and my husband is my only sexual partner.
