Can Clamp Kid Forte Be Given To Child For Cough?

Brief Answer:
It is safe to be given but I doubt if it is needed.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Such symptoms in children of this age is usually caused due to certain viral infections which can last for 5-10 days. Clamp kid contains amoxycillin which is very safe to be give. But I doubt if that is required. Antibiotics are ineffective in viral infections and unless there is clinical ground indicating secondary bacterial infection, antibiotics are not essential.
Hope that helps.
