Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
Thanks for writing in to us at hcm.
This is Dr.Riyanka and I am glad to be helping you with your query.
I understand that you have undergone angioplasty last october and you are feeling much better now due to the right intervention and life style modifications.
However, stopping the medicines like clopidgrel, rosuvastatin and ecosprin is not advisabe as without these medications the stents put during angioplasty may get blocked again (high risk of getting blocked without medications).
Hence it is advisable that you continue the medications long life and also get a echocardiography done every six months along with lipid profiles to keep a tab on your heart condition. Also visit a cardiologist every six months as there may be a need to change medication dosages.
Rosuvas - will always keep a check on your cholesterol levels
Clopidogrel and ecosprin are anti platelet drugs that help prevent clots .
Hence these are life saving drugs.
So kindly never discontinue them as they are good for your heart.
Kindly upload the reports again as only the letter head is visible and not the reports.
Hope this answers your query. Don't worry .
Do write back if you have any further doubts.
Get well soon
