Can Cyclobenzaprine Be Taken After Intake Of Alcoholic Drinks?

Question: I had six drinks last night last one being at midnight. Is it okay to take my cyclinenzaprin 10mg
Brief Answer:
Considerations.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for sending the question.
You would want to wait at least 12 hours after your last drink to take cyclobenzaprine. The concern is that alcohol combined with this medication can be very sedating.
If you wait at least 12 hours then the effects of the alcohol will be at a minimum and it would be reasonable to use the cyclobenzaprine if needed.
Please followup with your doctor as scheduled also.
Thanks again for the query.
