Brief Answer:
yes it helps in pain and numbness associated with depression

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

My answer is definitely yes as Cymbalta is most commonly used medication for this indication. Around 30 percent of middle aged women who are diagnosed with anxiety and depression also complain of pain, numbness, parasthesia and other bodily symptoms in addition to symptoms of depression and anxiety and for them SNRI group of medications are most useful.
The mechanism lies with norepinephrine uptake which is mechanism of action for this group of medications. Cymbalta is medication which has maximum norepinephrine uptake among the available molecules at this moment.

I hope this answers your question.
If you have more questions feel free to contact me. Iwill be happy to assist you.
Thanks and regards.
