Can Diatalvic Be Taken With Depakote?

Question: Can diatalvic be taken if i am also taking depakote ?
Brief Answer:
risk of dizziness and drowsiness
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
Di antalvic is a combination of acetaminophen and the opioid propoxyphene.
In terms of possible interactions between this drug and the depakote- this is an increased risk of dizziness and drowsiness.
This is because both opioids and the anti epileptic depakote are associated with these possible side effects, the combination may be associated with an increased frequency of this effects in some persons.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

I am taking depakote 1000 mg for mood swing daily dose. I have fractured rib that is painful what is a good combination of pain killer as i am taking now Cataflam and panadol.
Brief Answer:
stronger nsaids available
Detailed Answer:
HI
If the combination of cataflam and panadol is working for you then you can continue these medications.
If they are not effective then you may want to consider stronger NSAIDS such as celebrex or arcoxia. These would require a prescription.
If getting a prescription is difficult then you may want to try aleve which sometimes works better than cataflam in some.
Please feel free to ask anything else
