I took 10 mg 8 hours ago drank -Bout 6 beer
Brief Answer:
No serious risk but be cautious...
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the clarification. Now, it is important to understand that Diazepam as well as alcohol have sedative effects and so, if taken together there can be excessive sedation.
However, since you have taken only one 10mg tablet of Diazepam and that too 8 hours before you drank alcohol, I don't think there is a serious risk. But I would still advise you to be cautious and ensure that you stay in the presence of someone who can keep an eye on you for at least the next 12 hours. If you need to sleep, sleep on your side (this will avoid any aspiration in case you vomit). Do not drive for the next 12 - 24 hours. The danger signs that you (or the person staying with you) should watch out for are unarousable state of sleep, shallow breathing, aspiration and seizures. In case any of these signs are present, you need to seek immediate medical attention. I'm mentioning these just that you will be extra cautious and safe. Take care.
