Can Drotin A Be Taken For Gallbladder Pain?

Question : I have got stomach pain due to stone in Gall Bladder. I have taken Drotin A tab, but still no relief. Can i take Dart tab now? Or what should i do? My surgery is still pending for weak heart condition.

Hi,

You seem to have biliary colic. With an established diagnosis and delayed surgery your doctor should have given you ample pain relief medication. DROTIN A is a very good antispasmodic medicine. If that does not help you should go for traditional anti cholinergic antispasmodics like Dicyclomine ( Tab COLISPAS) up to 40mg thrice a day 30 min before food. I would have prescribed this as back up pain medication for my patient.Please ask your doctor for prescription of the same.
