Can Duolin Be Used In Place Of Asthalin?
Question: My mom is 75 years old and is under TB treatment She is presently taking 2 drug therapy and into her 5th month of treatment @2 drugs therapy Recently she had Viral fever and has chest congestion For which she is taking nebulizer treatment at home with Asthalin and beurdart medication Please tell me the exact dosages And her cough increased after starting the treatment Please advice me on this Will cough increase because of nebulizer treatment

I can understand your concern.
Instead of Asthalin, better to take duolin.
Asthalin is having salbutamol. Duolin is having levosalbutamol and ipratropium (dual bronchodilator). It is better than Asthalin.
Give duolin four times a day and budecort twice daily.
Please let me know

Better to rule out lung tuberculosis.
