Can Eliquis Cause Rashes On The Body?
Question: Red rash and eliquis. Torso and leg? I have been on for 1 year for stroke?
Brief Answer:
Possible side effect of Eliquis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Yes, Eliquis or apixaban use may result in skin rash too as a possible adverse effect.
However, it is necessary to get an evaluation and examination by your Doctor in order to exclude other possible causes of skin rashes such infection, allergies, etc.
It is necessary also to discuss with your Doctor also about stopping Eliquis if the side effects become bothersome, aspirin may be used instead.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Kind regards.
