Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have benign Enlargement of Prostate.
Flotral belongs to the class of alpha-adrenoreceptor antagonists. which relaxes smooth muscles in bladder neck and prostate and thereby help in improving urine flow.

You can take it life long However it has no effect on reducing the size of the prostate and hence may not be effective if the prostate gland continues to increase in size after few years

It has side effect of retrograde ejaculation.

Will flotral still be as effective after prolonged use or do I have to change the drug?Is there any scope of discontinuing it for a while or forever? I do not want to have the same drug lifelong.
