Question: i am 37 years old moron from Edmonton, Canada. I went to massage parlor on Saturday afternoon. We had protected oral sex and protected vaginal sex after that we tried anal. While inserting in her anal condom broke and within 4-5 seconds I removed. I don't know how much i would be inside her anal may be 1/2" XXXXXXX I did not realize the situation and changed condom and did vaginal condom sex. I took shower and washed penis with soap. After finishing I asked her if she is HIV . She said she is safe with no HIV. She said if I don't trust get checked yourself and don't break condom next time. I ran to the doctor and he gave me some antibiotics to help me with the bacteria. He gave me test papers for 3 days, 3 months and 6 months to confirm i don't have any HIV or other diseases. I took 6 pills of antibiotics at the same time as doc said. Next day i started to feel little body itching. I had an eitching problem 2 months ago too but it went away after taking 3 dose of on counter medicine. Now I am worried too much. I love my wife and kid. I have wonderful future. I am worried if i have HIV then my life will be ruined. I can't concentrate on work even. I am too much scared. I won't do this again in my life. I am worried and scared. I dont see any infection except little itching. Please advise me what are the chances of getting HIV & STD.

I have done tests yesterday i have not received any reports yet.

What are the chances of infection?. I am worried and scared.

doctor gave me bacterial antibiotics to prevent bacterial infection that he was worried about

Brief Answer:
You shouldn't worry that much

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

although anal sex is the worst kind of sexual contact regarding HIV transmission, the fact that the woman practiced protected sex only, means that she takes the necessary measures against STD, so her chances of being sick are not very high. Besides that even a full unprotected anal contact, the transmission rates from woman to man are very low.

Other STD are possible though but if your doctor has covered that possibility with antibiotics you shouldn't worry either. STD would show signs or symptoms of their presence, so you'll be aware of them.

Your itching can be allergic in nature, although I cannot be sure about that. The antibiotics cause allergic reactions sometimes and since you've had an allergy in the past, a new reaction is also possible.

I would suggest refraining from sexual contacts with your wife until you have the last HIV negative report (the test after six months) just to be 100% certain.

I hope I've helped!

Brief Answer:
The chances of HIV infection are very very low

Detailed Answer:
Insertive anal contact carries a risk of 6/10000 (for HIV transmission) which is very low. Sexual contact lasting for so little time should be even less risky, so this is what I meant. And HIV transmission requires a sick partner too!

Despite that, HIV transmission cannot be 100% excluded, so please complete the lab testing as instructed by your doctor and make sure that you won't risk your wife's health till then!

Contact me again, if you need further clarifications.

Kind Regards!

sir, she told me she gets checked every month for diseases. She does not drink or taking drugs. What about if i pay her good money and take her to get checked. If she is negative means not sick then what are my chances to get HIV

what is insertive sex? I was above her is it called insertive?

Brief Answer:
This would help (you) a lot but it still can't exclude transmission

Detailed Answer:
HIV positivity can be delayed and this is the reason why your doctor asked you to do a last test 6 months after the incident. The same applies for her. If she's negative today, you can't be absolutely certain that she won't be positive in a month or so. If she has recently contracted HIV then the tests might be negative but transmission may occur!

So although it would help you to calm down a lot, you won't be 100% certain about the outcome. Despite that the risk is very very low and as I've already pointed out you shouldn't be very worried.

Kind Regards!
