Brief Answer:
Transmission Possible if bleeding in both.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.

If there is contact of fresh blood from the person with your open wound, there are chances of transmission of HIV.
The person may be negative for HIV .
If negative no need to worry.
If positive then you can go for testing or pep depending on duration of exposure.

If there is no contact of blood then there is no chance.
The blood may dry in tissue .
Also if there is no bleeding wound , no chance of transmission.Just abrasion or cut without bleeding will not transmit.

You can get back for any clarification

Brief Answer:
Almost nil possibility of transmission.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

I do not not see any risk of HIV, if only wiped by a tissue.
So the possibility of blood coming in contact with your open wound is almost nil.
So you can allay fears .
