Can HIV Be Contracted Through Contact Of Wound In Chlorine Water?
Question: I know this is probably just anxiety, however please advise me.
About 2 weeks ago I was at a water park I went down a slide when I stood up an earring or a piercing of some kind pierced my foot deeply all the way to the end of the earring this was at the bottom of a chlorinated pool.
If it feel out of the person who went right before me is there a hiv risk?
Would the chlorine kill the hiv
Would just plain water kill or wash of hiv
I am concerned because after that I stuck my straw in my daughters soda and drank out of it, and I tend to get mouth sores and bad gums if I got something from that earring would she be at risk, or would the sprite kill it?
Also my wife is breast feeding so I am avoiding sex with her until I get some piece of mind on this. Please advise
