Can HIV Be Contracted Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?

Question: I was in an adult video bookstore and was fingered by another man. He used some of his semen as lube to insert one finger up to the second knuckle am fingered me for just a little. What is my risk for hiv exposure?
Brief Answer:
No need to worry- risk is almost 0%
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting your question to HCM,
From what you are describing, the risk for HIV exposure is almost 0%.
HIV is a virus that is not resistant to the environment. The risk of exposure when in contact with blood is very high, but very low in case of sexual intercourse.
during a normal sexual intercourse the risk of exposure is 0,04% and 1% in case of anal sex because the risk of trauma is higher, so contact with blood can be higher.
In your case, you don't need to worry about it, because while passing body fluids the risk is negligible, almost 0.
Let me know if you have further concerns.
Take care,
Dr. Klarida
