Can HIV Be Contracted Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?
Question: So I messed with this guy i didn't really know. We were both masturbating and he came on my penis and I used his cum as lube to finish myself off. Do I have a risk of std? Because it had to go into my urethra. His penis looked fine and he said he was clean but now im having terrible anxiety.
Brief Answer:
there could be some risk
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I've never read about transmission of HIV this way. There is a theoretical risk because a potentially infected semen came into contact with your mucous membranes but since no such case has been reported (at least to my knowledge) the risk has to be very low (if existent at all).
I hope this answers your question. Please contact me again, if you'd like any clarification or further information.
Kind Regards!

And when is the best time I should get an std test? This just happened today
Brief Answer:
yes it is...
Detailed Answer:
You're welcome!
Unfortunately it is! Some of them might provide visible clues to their presence while others could be "hidden". But there's always risk with unprotected contacts. Most STDs develop symptoms soon after contacting them (within days or weeks), so if you develop symptoms you should be tested.

So is two weeks a good amount of time to wait to get an std test or would you recommend longer?
Brief Answer:
a little longer would be better
Detailed Answer:
Provided that you don't have any symptoms, I would ask for an initial test about a month after being exposed to the potential danger. A baseline test might be useful but it's not required.
