Can HIV Be Contracted Through Protected Intercourse?
Question: Hi, I spent a night with an escort on 4 th November and since then I have been worried if I should go for a HIV test or not. I had protected sex with her with a condom . My concerns are 1. she kissed on my lips twice or thrice but we didn't exchange any saliva and 2 . When I removed my condom from my penis with my hand , I didn't wash my hand after that and I am thinking now ,if some of her vaginal fluid which touched my hand when I removed my condom , can do anything bad for me since I didn't wash my hand. Please help me on this because I don't want not even 1% risk on this.
Brief Answer:
You don't need to worry as you had protected sex.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
i have gone through your query. You don't need to worry as you had protected sex. Vaginal fluid has to touch mucous membrane to get infected. As this didn't happened there is nothing to worry. Even by saliva there is no risk. Only if you have done deep mouth kissing then there is some risk.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
