Can HIV Be Contracted Through Protected Intercourse?

Question: I recently had protected sex with a commercial sex worker at a massage parlor in XXXXXXX My concern is that my penis was not fully erect when I penetrated her. The encounter lasted for about 3 minutes, and I did not ejaculate. I do believe my penis was still covered with the condom a little more than about 3/4 when I pulled out. My question is whether or I am at risk for HIV since my penis was limp. Thank you.

Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
From what you have mentioned it seems very unlikely that you might have been exposed to risk of HIV.
Usually during sexual activity there are small cuts and bruises which occurs to the glans through which the HIV virus can get transmitted. As you mentioned that 3/4th of it was covered that means glans and most of the shaft was covered.
So there is no way the virus could have entered as condom does prevents cuts n bruises to the tip and hence has prevented transmission if at all present.
So do not worry. You are protected
I hope I have answered your question well.
If you have any questions kindly ask me back.
Thank you
