Brief Answer:
HIV testing is the surest way to confirm or rule out HIV

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.

You had protected sex. So the question of HIV is unlikely. Sore throat is a common problem for anybody and not necessarily related to HIV. Especially after a sexual intimacy, an air born throat infection (ordinary bacterial) is very much possible and also through kissing. Similarly feeling of itching and weird feeling of tongue are not specific for HIV in any way.The only way to know the HIV status is to test for HIV. You can have the test (Antigen based tests) 4 weeks after the exposure and rule out the negligible risk for HIV.
Till then it is better to have safe sex with any partner, if you concern more about them.

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are common for any type of throat infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Pain below the left ear and ear block are signs of a throat infection of any etiology. Such throat infection is one of the commonest menace that anybody can have and not necessarily due to HIV. As you had protected sex HIV infection is unlikely. Only the blood test can either rule out or confirm HIV and not such symptoms.
Not to worry.
