What To Do If Having Red, Swollen Rash On Face After Taking Parafon Forte For Muscle Spasms?

I have just started taking Parafon forte for muscle spasms on Tuesday. Today I have a rash on my face, mostly on one side that is a little bit red and swollen and a little bumpy. I wouldn t normally think it was a big thing but because of the liver toxicity issues with this medication I want to know if I should go to the hospital and let them look at.

Hello,

The rash could be an allergic reaction to the drug you've used but it could also be irrelevant. You should definitely see a doctor. Herpes zoster (shingles) would be another potential cause - for example. Injury to the liver should not present this way.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
