Can HIV Be Contracted Through Protected Sexual And Oral Intercourse?

Posted on Wed, 11 Mar 2015
Question: Hi Doctors, My Problem is about corcern of hiv. I have been with a CSW(escort) lady in Hungary. The sex was protected(intercourse and oral) however prior the act, I shaved and trimmed my groin area.(I do not remember any cut). I have developped a major anxiety since the new year. (Shaking, night sweat, 3-4 hour sleeping).
Since then I did 2 combo test (on 6th Eclia, and on the 24th Abbott Architect after the possible exposure). Since first of January I have flu(cold) symptoms, swollen lymphs 3 weeks now on the neck and mild sore throat(I can eat, drink only I feel a discomfort). And I feel a pea sized lymph in my armpit, sometimes with shooting pain(I am a very skinny, 65 kg and 190 cm). In the HIV checkpoint Center they told that I am negative, the Doctors say I am negative. My Question: Is it possible that all my symptoms what I have is through by anxiety, I ruined my immunity against normal cold viruses with my anxiety?. I am living in Denmark, I did the Abbott test here. I am sorry if I am confusig, but I cannot get out from this flu like illnesses. I am eating C vitamin 2000mg, drinking a lot of Camomile tea. I dont know What Should I DO Now. Thank you a lot Doctors.

Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
Thank you for compliments.
Yes different respiratory viruses or bacteria may be the reason for your symptoms. It may be due to respiratory contact with any other infected person.

Shaving with fresh razor or if used by single individual will not transmit HIV.
If any cuts occurs and if infected razors are used there is a slight risk of transmission. Otherwise no risk.

You can get back for any clarification.
