Brief Answer:
No risk of HIV, there is no need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
HIV will be transmitted only if your skin cut comes in direct contact with infected person's blood, saliva, semen etc. Another person touching your cut with a gauze pad will not result in transmission of HIV.
You don't have to worry about using the restroom. HIV virus won't survive outside the human body and there is no risk of transmission by using the public restroom.
You can relax. Nothing to be worried about.

Hello again,
There is no risk of contracting HIV in your case. The other person just touching your cut with/without the Gauze piece will not cause transmission of HIV virus.
No need to worry about coming in contact with someone's blood or sharp objects in the restroom. HIV virus present in blood or other objects will die within seconds after exposure to the atmosphere. Only sharing sharp objects like needles immediately after use is required for HIV transmission. You can relax and do not have to go back to check the restroom.

Hello again,
As I had mentioned in above discussion, using sinks or public restroom with an injury will not cause HIV transmission.
I have seen the attached pictures. There are no obvious injuries or skin problems noticeable in the picture.
Work environment usually does not cause HIV transmission unless you are working in high risk places like hospitals, laboratories etc coming in direct contact with body fluids.
Hope this answers your question

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry at all
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
HIV will not be transmitted through inanimate objects sitting outside as the virus cannot survive.
So even if you came in contact with or got injured from the card box boxes or wine bottles, HIV transmission is not a risk.
You can relax. I assure you that there is nothing to be worried about.
I have also seen the pictures and there is nothing concerning on face.Ecerything looks normal.
