Can HIV Be Transmitted Via Touching Public Objects Contaminated With Blood?

Question: I am freaking out! I have open cuts on my hands and earlier at the gas station there was someones blood on the fuel nozzle! I touched it and didnt notice until my husband saw it and then checked the fuel pump and sure enough it was blood. I am so scared pf getting HIV! Should i go be seen by a doctor and get tested? Is this a way of transmission?? Please if you do not know muvh about HIV then please do not answer as i am looking for knowledge on this subject as well as paying you. What are the risks????
