Can Haloperidol,Hydromorphine And Morphine Be Taken Together?
Question: Hospitalised patient has COPD, CCF (with pacemaker and pulmonary hypertension), plueral effusion, hypoxia, renal insufficiency, myelporoliferative disorder (without acute transformation), malnutrition, hypothermia, T2 diabetes, dyspnea, dysarthria, hypotension, delirium and pain. Would you have any serious concerns regarding interactions with administering 0.25 mg of haloperidol, 50 minutes later another administration of the same, 2 hours later 0.25 mg of hydromorphine and 30 minutes later 5 mg of morphine?

The medicines you have mentioned can be given safely as far as your attending doctor is sure that patient is awake enough to protect the airway. If patient is having baseline drowsiness then these medicines should be avoided.
If patient is having an airway protection with any tube in place then these medicines can be given.
