Question: extremely sore throat with very swollen lymph nodes and it hurts to swallow. Fatigue and all over body soreness, as well as a heavy head that hurts to hold up

can be pharyngitis and tonsillitis. have warm saline gurgling and swab taken for culture and sensitivity. most effective antibiotic to be taken.

warm saline gurgling vitc and antibiotic recomanded in culture sensitivity

Detailed Answer:
cap amoxicillin is one of good and suitable antibiotic. But its better to start antibiotic based on culture sensitivity report performed on a throat swab. Can be examined by ent surgeon and proper diagnosis done. vit c 5oomg like chewcee, can be taken daily although the requirement is less and extra dose will be excreted but remaining dose will help in gaining resistance enhanced rate of recovery. Warm saline gurgling will indirectly help by washing out pathogens. Enlarged lymph gland are draining from inflamed throat condition. with proper antibiotic they be normal.
