Brief Answer:
it's almost the same...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I suppose you must be taking anticoagulants.
Indomethacin is a similar drug to daypro. So the answer, according to your doctor, should be the same. Drugs like that increase the risk for gastrointestinal bleeding and anticoagulants make things even worse. Having gastrointestinal bleeding when taking anticoagulants can be a life threatening situation.

If you have a gout attack then you should try alternatives like colchicine. If you can't take colchicine then using a NSAID like indomethacin or daypro, can be accepted. If you do take the NSAID, you should also take a PPI like omeprazole to protect (as much as the PPI can) against gastrointestinal bleeding and ulcers.

Kind Regards!
