Can Isabgol Be Taken In Stage 3 Kidney Disease?

Question: Hi Doctor, my father, 82 years is a stage 3 kidney patient. He is on medication. He is highly constipated. Can we give him isabgol? Piclin syp does not seem to work

you can give him Isabgol - 2 spoonful with milk or water at night. I f it does not work over next 2 -3 days. you can also start lactulose syp. under guidance of your treating doctor.
