Hello,
linzess is supposed to increase the water content of the stool in order to make it softer and easier to be expelled by the intestine. It won't cause a reduction in urine volume, at least not directly. Since it may induce diarrhea (and water loss) if the water is not adequately replenished and has caused dehydration then the urine volume may be reduced.
Symptoms that may indicate dehydration include thirst, orthostatic hypotension, a faster than normal heart rate, reduced skin elasticity etc
It's hard to reach this point of dehydration with such drugs though!

Maybe im being a little bit hypochondriacal, it just seems that my urine output is down to a daily average of about 750 ml +- which i think is in the normal range. I'll speak with my PCP on Monday. Thank you.

Urine is straw colored. Volume is quite low at night, but after coffee etc in the AM is about 60 ml per hour. Perhaps, I'm just not taking in enough fluids. Thanks.
