Can Linzess Cause A Reduction In Urine Output Volume?

normally no
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
linzess is supposed to increase the water content of the stool in order to make it softer and easier to be expelled by the intestine. It won't cause a reduction in urine volume, at least not directly. Since it may induce diarrhea (and water loss) if the water is not adequately replenished and has caused dehydration then the urine volume may be reduced.
Symptoms that may indicate dehydration include thirst, orthostatic hypotension, a faster than normal heart rate, reduced skin elasticity etc
It's hard to reach this point of dehydration with such drugs though!
I hope you find my comments helpful!

750 is low normal
Detailed Answer:
750ml is a low-normal value. If your urine is always dark yellow then perhaps you'd require more water. The darker the color, the worse the dehydration. Producing 750mL or urine effectively excludes the dehydration scenario I've been talking about in my previous answer!
Best wishes!

Yes, more fluids will help - unless contraindicated
Detailed Answer:
You're welcome. Whatever is more than 30ml/h is OK but still low. 750/24=31.25. It won't do any harm to your kidneys but it's better if you get more fluids - unless you've got other medical conditions that may get worse with fluids like heart failure for example.
