If cholesterol levels are ok, can go off Lipitor
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Lipitor is the trade name for the generic drug atorvastatin. It is of statin group helping in reducing high cholesterol levels.
Its use is recommended until cholesterol levels are stabilized. So, if your numbers are ok now, can safely stop taking Lipitor. But do not forget to continue following heart healthy diet and lifestyle regimen.
Its use comes with various side effects. If you did not have any until now, no worries.
Hope it was of help!
