Question: My face I swollen on the entire left side and my mouth is absolutely swollen I went to the doctor this morning and they gave me a prednisone shot and they told me that it was the lisinopril I think it's more what should I do
Brief Answer:
It will regress progressively. Lisinopril is known to cause this.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this swollen face. Lisinopril is a known cause of this. Because you were on this drug, I am sure that is the cause. I will suggest that you go ahead and stop lisnopril if that has not been done. Unfortunately, it will take a couple of days before all returns to normal. Please, exercise some patience and carry on with the prednisone. As you as you can breath without any difficulties, all will slowly return to normal.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
