Question: Can Ratadine D be taken after food during first month of pregnancy? Actually Dr prescribed it to be taken before food. But my has forgot to take it.

Hi there,

It maybe more effective if taken before food, but not required. It is actually recommend to be taken at night, but during severe cases of heart burn like pregnancy, you can take is several times daily - usually with food.

Ranitidine should not be taken with a multivitamin or prenatal vitamin, however. They should be taken at least 2 hours apart.
