Can Lupron Depot Be Given For Advanced Prostate Cancer?
Question: Are you familiar with Lupron depot as used for advanced prostate cancer?
It seems to cause blood clotting. and an adjuntive blood thinner should be given at same time as the Lupron treatment, is Aspirin adequate for adult male? if no what then?
The result was I got rid of the prostate cancer but had a right side CVA that has left me paralyzed on left side of body, zero use of left arm, not much on left leg but I get along on a single point. My next doctor asserted the stroke was a result of no blood thinner given in conjunction with Lupron, as I was a health nut type,
no smoking ran 26 mile marathons, ran 3-5 miles daily went to gym and used their machines daily, no controlled substance use rarely drinking and then limited to a small glass of red wine.

As an Urologist,let me assure you, that Lupron depot is familiar with all Urologists.
It's avoided if possible, in patients, who have a blood clotting problem.
There're alternative medicines available for the same.
It's not clear, how you got rid of your prostate cancer. ?? radical surgery.
Stroke can develop in any person, having high blood pressure, with high bad cholesterol. Diabetes is a contributive factor.
At the time of treating your prostate cancer, you seem to have had CVA.
Has your bone scan been done. Kindly elaborate on reports of creatinine, LFT, PSA, Hb, and ultrasound scan of abdomen, and MRI pelvis , if done.
After going through the reports, i can give you an expert advice.

I ended up with radiation, bone scan showed nothing of note, I had controlLed high blood pressure cholesterol was also under 200. no diabetes in my family history but strokes yes. I did suffer a right side CVA family history of strokes going back several generations
