Can Lyrica Cause Anxiety?

Question: hi
i will be taking lyrica, (chronic back pain)but as i suffer from anixety and mild depression i worry taking lyrica will make the anixety worse?
oh i am also on epilm for epilepsy

Actually, Lyrica is sometimes used for the successful treatment of anxiety disorders. More commonly used is Lyrica's cousin, Neurontin, but both can actually help anxiety. I don't think it is likely that Lyrica will worsen your anxiety. Lyrica will not worsen your depression either. There are no interactions between Lyrica and Eplim, so you are safe there.

Thanks for your reply, i forgot to mention i am on cipramil for anixety at moment. So the 3 could be take together - epilim, cipramil & lyrica without heightening my anxiety/depression?
