Hello!
Thank you for the query.
MRCP is a magnetic resonance of bile ducts and pancreas ducts. It allows to detect any obstacles in this ducts like stones, cysts or tumors. Pancreas tumor should be also visible in this test however if you have had it, it would be visible in the CT which you have had.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

I had a CT three and a half months ago. I assume then that the symptoms are likely due to something else besides pancreatic cancer? Blood work for inflammation was normal. Unless something was missed on CT. Thanks for the information.

Detailed Answer:
Pancreas cancer does not give symptoms at all in the beginning. If it starts giving any symptoms (jaundice is common symptom of pancreas cancer), the tumor is clearly visible in CT. So for sure your symptoms are not cause by pancreas cancer.
Abdominal pain which radiates to the back and nausea are very characteristic symptoms of gallstones or other gallbladder or bile ducts issues. You may have a stone somewhere in the bile ducts. MRCP will answer this question.
